Terms of Service

Last updated: August 22, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ShyShorts ("ShyShorts," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ShyShorts.

These Terms apply to ShyShorts services accessed through any ShyShorts-owned domain or subdomain, including shyshorts.com and app surfaces operated by ShyShorts. If you use or access ShyShorts on any such domain or subdomain, you are accepting these Terms, and it is your responsibility to review the current version of these Terms before continuing to use the service.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement to use ShyShorts. If you use ShyShorts for a company, client, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, maintaining the security of your login methods, devices, browsers, sessions, and any connected third-party accounts, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscriptions, Billing, and Credits

Paid features may require an active subscription, video credit balance, usage allowance, or other paid entitlement processed through Dodo Payments or its payment infrastructure. Subscription fees are billed in advance and may renew automatically unless you cancel before the next renewal date.

Credits are used to reserve and consume faceless-video generation, rendering, publishing, and related processing work. Credits are service entitlements only. They have no cash value, are not stored-value instruments, cannot be transferred, and are not refundable except where we decide to correct a genuine billing error or where required by law.

We may change plans, prices, credit grants, credit costs, included usage, feature access, billing mechanics, or payment-provider requirements. If required by law or provider rules, changes will apply after appropriate notice or at the next billing cycle.

4. User Content and Rights

You may upload, import, submit, generate, store, schedule, publish, and use ideas, prompts, scripts, drafts, gameplay clips, media files, generated images, generated videos, captions, voice settings, records, profile data, connected account data, URLs, and related materials ("User Content"). You retain any rights you have in your User Content.

You grant ShyShorts a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, transform, transmit, display, and use User Content as needed to provide, secure, moderate, support, improve, and operate the service.

You represent that you have all rights, licenses, permissions, and consents needed for the content you upload, import, reference, schedule, publish, or ask us to generate. You are solely responsible for ensuring your inputs and outputs do not violate intellectual property, privacy, publicity, platform, advertising, consumer-protection, or other applicable rights and laws.

5. AI Output and Commercial Use

ShyShorts may use third-party AI systems and automated workflows. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, unexpected, similar to other outputs, unsuitable for your intended use, or unavailable due to provider limitations.

We do not guarantee that any output is unique, protectable, non-infringing, compliant with third-party platform rules, commercially effective, or fit for a specific purpose. You must review and approve any generated or assisted content before publishing or relying on it.

You may use generated outputs for commercial purposes only if you have independently confirmed that your inputs, prompts, references, claims, trademarks, likenesses, account data, and final outputs are lawful and properly licensed for that use.

6. Third-Party Services

ShyShorts depends on third-party providers for authentication, hosting, databases, storage, analytics, billing, AI processing, rendering, voice generation, publishing integrations, email, support, and optional integrations. Their outages, policy changes, provider restrictions, pricing changes, or enforcement actions may affect ShyShorts features.

Your use of any connected third-party service remains subject to that service's own terms, policies, API limits, rate limits, and enforcement decisions.

7. Moderation and Prohibited Activities

We may scan, classify, reject, block, remove, or restrict content, prompts, uploads, connected-account activity, scheduling requests, and generation requests to enforce safety, legal, provider, payment, or platform rules. Moderation systems can produce false positives or false negatives, and we are not required to provide a detailed explanation.

You must not use ShyShorts to:

  • Break any law, regulation, contract, or platform policy.
  • Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, image, likeness, or confidentiality rights.
  • Generate, schedule, or distribute hateful, harassing, abusive, defamatory, deceptive, violent, sexual, exploitative, extremist, or otherwise harmful content.
  • Impersonate people, brands, public figures, private individuals, or organizations without proper rights and consent.
  • Make false product, medical, financial, political, legal, advertising, or endorsement claims.
  • Scrape, crawl, overload, reverse engineer, bypass security, abuse billing or usage limits, resell access, or interfere with the service.

8. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, successful generation, successful rendering, successful publishing, provider uptime, specific AI models, fixed processing times, business outcomes, revenue, account growth, or continued availability of any feature. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

9. Intellectual Property

ShyShorts, including its software, design, workflows, templates, branding, documentation, and platform content excluding your User Content, is owned by ShyShorts or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, adapt, reverse engineer, or exploit the service except as allowed by these Terms. Feedback may be used by ShyShorts without restriction or compensation, provided we do not disclose your personal information in violation of our Privacy Policy.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access immediately if we believe you violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, abused the service, failed to pay, or used ShyShorts in a way that may harm us, users, providers, platforms, or third parties.

You may stop using the service or request account deletion at any time. Termination does not automatically create a refund right.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, reliability, growth results, or output quality.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShyShorts and its owners, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, content claims, platform bans, ad rejection, account restrictions, failed campaigns, or lost engagement arising from or related to your use of the service.

13. Governing Law and Changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise. We may update these Terms by changing this page and its "Last updated" date. Your continued use of ShyShorts after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
